The ITALWEBER Group is still growing!

As of 14 February 2019 Italweber SPA takes over the company Ocmei srl, a historic company specializing in safety and wiring products, which returns to being 100% Italian after years of French management.

Specifically, the transaction concerned the purchase of the shares of the Italian branch of the multinational group Sicame, of which Ocmei srl will remain the exclusive distributor for all the companies of the group.

With this new acquisition, the Italweber group expects to develop new opportunities in a growing market such as that of safety by offering its distributor partners a complete range of specific items for the protection of people in the workplace.

The acquisition is part of a strategic plan that aims to develop new sales channels while maintaining the philosophy of a group dedicated to partnership with distribution, whether it is specialized in the electromechanical and/or safety and accident prevention sectors.

In addition to this, the particularity of the range also allows specific activities aimed at large energy distribution and rail transport companies.

With this new entry, the Italweber group achieves a turnover of €28 million.
